Halley is amazing! I have been going to her for over 10 years. She is a wonderful stylist and colorist! She listens to what I want to do with my hair regarding cut and color and I am always very happy with my results. She is a wonderful person and I always look forward to my hair appts. She also has a beautiful new space that is warm and inviting!

From my hair color highlighting, hair straightening, and hair cuts she listened to what I was seeking and took it up a notch because of her experience! Haley has a rare gift for energy healing as well as all services hair related. She will listen to your concerns and desires for your hair and will transform your look with her capable and caring hands. She is very experienced cutting and styling all kinds of hair, curly, wavy, straight. You are indeed in very good hands with Haley. A wonderful hair wash with natural hair products includes a head massage and conditioning. I come all the way from Chicago for my haircuts with her. I used to be very stressed before every haircut (because of many bad haircuts) until I met Haley. Not I am totally relaxed and at ease about my haircuts and in fact I look forward to them and the time I spend with her. Haley has a unique energy and cheerfulness about her and she uplifts my spirits! I have experienced her energy healing sessions as well and I highly recommend this treatment alone or as an add on to your hair service. What a unique and incredibly creative concept, combining these services into hair and wellness salon! I leave Monarch Hair and Wellness so much lighter (in hair and in spirit ) and happier and more cheerful as a butterfly! Chicago is jealous St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia! I may just have to move here!

I cannot rave about Monarch hair & wellness- and Halley enough. The salon itself is spacious, clean, stylish & relaxing. Halley is so fun, positive and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. I have been going to Halley for 3 years and she has never lead me astray. Weather it be coloring or highlighting my super long hair, cutting complimenting layers, or helping me work through postpartum hair loss - she has got me covered. I also have gone to Halley for cranial massages when I had severe headaches during pregnancy. These massages were the only thing that helped me. I send everyone to Monarch - my husband, parents & kids all go. She’s magic!

I'm new to the area and this salon was recommended to me. I'd definitely do the same for others! As I've aged my hair has completely changed from straight to curly, and thinning. She took the time to really listen and examine my hair, and give advice on what cut would work best. Whatever products she put on really made my hair shine. I also love the private boutique feel of her place which provides a serene spa experience. I also appreciate her thoughtful use of products that are environmentally friendly. Highly recommended.

Shags, bangs and feathers, oh my! Halley is the only hairdresser I have ever been to that understands me. The fact is: I will never style my hair. And in other salons you walk out with your hair neatly dried and curled and of course it looks good… but then you wash it and can never achieve that look ever again. Not with Halley cause she cuts accordingly so it looks good without me doing anything to it! On the rare occasion that I get highlights, they are always perfectly placed and grow out beautifully. I will forever travel just to get my twice yearly cut from her. Don’t even get me started about the shampoo massage…

I've had such a wonderful experience with Halley, both with my hair services and their company :). The salon itself is warm and inviting and my hair looks and feels better than it ever has. Knowing I can book online and feeling comfortable putting my headphones on during my session is great when I'm not feeling very talkative, too.

Halley is a treat for all your inner and outer beauty needs. Her new space is relaxing, inspiring and super groovy! I go to her for my curly hair which she always brings back to life. I have also started getting cranial reiki sessions, these have allowed me to open up to myself and break through my mental struggles. I always leave her space feeling beautiful and joyful, I recommend any of her services.

Halley is amazing! She took me from a pixie to a short bob without feeling any of the pains associated with growing out your hair.
