Halley Cook, founder and owner of Monarch Hair and Wellness, has accrued over a decade of experience in the industry. Halley has studied underneath and worked for Chicago's Marianne Strokirk Salons before moving to Geneva IL in 2011. Since moving she has felt the call to dive into wellbeing and energy work. it has become another purpose of hers besides being a hairdresser. Along with her space at Monarch you will find that she helps different artists and sells their work at the shop.
In Halley's own words, "To me, hair is anything but just hair and it's everything about bringing out the unique parts of who you are through careful curation. Hair is about giving back. It can be art, it can forge long lasting relationships, and it might even be what wellness means to you. Monarch took root from these ideas and has since grown into a space for hair and healing services, surrounded by art from local artists. If you're feeling the call, come on in."
